And while there were most
certainly some very bare essential choppers, there were also
some excellent, trick customs as well as "road hard and put away
wet" riders.
Take this beauty on the left.
There is stuff on here that even I don't know what the hell it
is. Take that bank of carburetors - my mind keeps saying
Offenhauser (or something like that) 'cause these things look
like they came off a flathead Ford dragster straight outta Hot
Rod magazine from 1961.
And exposed dual belts? Huh? I love this - but I know for sure
this rig is not available from Bikers Choice! Talk about
fabrication...can you say "up all night?" ...I knew you could.
This thing probably came from some well-known customizer who if
I knew anything at all I would know about, but I don't. So hey,
at least I'm not pretending.
