Gary, a cousin and fellow biker, died January 20, 2003. He was very proud of his bikes, and chose to live his life as he saw fit. Even for people that don’t understand the “biker lifestyle,” that quality has to draw admiration. I learned a
lot about Gary at the funeral that I didn’t know while he was alive. I wish I had been able to ride with him, even once.

We had occasion to be in the same places at the same times, but our paths never crossed there. How cool that would have been.

For those of you who wanna know, Gary didn't pass in a violent way. His bike is featured on the left as a fitting tribute to a free spirit and ace biker.

Nothing but love and respect for a man who spends his last hours on this earth riding a hardtail shovelhead.

Ride free, ride forever.
