Long hot ride there - yesiree. Had to stop for some much-needed Mexican food and water. Temperature in Lusk ("skul" spelled backwards) was over 100 degrees. Of course the Wyoming Highway Department laid out the red carpet by giving us 12 miles of freshly oiled gravel on the only main thoroughfare in that cursed state.
