2003 was definitely the year of the "pre-fab" chop.
Nothing wrong with these, mind you. Some of these guys like American
Ironhorse, BMC, Big Dog and a host of others really turn out some killer
scoots. And hey, they're getting almost affordable (dunno if you're idea
of affordable is 25 grand or so...). Being as they're produced in limited
numbers they retain a fair amount of uniqueness. I'd rather spend my day
looking at these than the motor companies line up of rubber-mounted
sportsters (really!) - but I guess I'll always be a fan of the greasy
one-off bike built by hand by the owner.
Bottom picture features Trash pointing out high-visibility safety devices
of unknown origin. Rumor has it these strange items "blink" as rider
"turns". It's a bizarre world all right.
