The rear fender was transformed from a ’36 Ford Continental Kit
Ring. A little cutting, a little welding. The same with the
Paughco tank: slice and dice and some bondo. Sounds easy enough!
A full molded frame, the paint is candy cherry over silver
flake. Some silver and gold leaf to accent the red, plus my
favorite: the white cobwebbing in the inserts. I built this bike
to be the mate to the orange shovel – they do look great side by
side. I’ve always believed that every bike project needs a name
to keep it on course. This is “Jupiter’s Child.” I think it fits
just perfectly! If anyone has any questions about the “Child,”
send me an email at radicaltom@hotmail.com. Warren, as always,
it is an honor to be on choppersrule! Thanks!
Nope, thank YOU Mr. Rad for keeping those choppers alive and
serving as an inspiration for builders everywhere who ask the
question "What happened to the stuff I liked in the 60's?"
