An excellent example of this is the taillight. Not content with the regular chromed taillight unit that is used on the majority of choppers, Tom shopped around and finally came up with a bent and beat gas-operated taillight unit from a Model T. Converting it to electricity wasn't the easiest job in the world, and smoothing and polishing enough for a chroming job was a project in itself. Finally it was finished, though, and we think you'll agree that it was worth the effort.

Not a show bike, despite the appearance and the over 2,000 dollars invested, Tom's bike is ridden daily, and is easily
one of the best looking of the many good looking bikes on the road in California today.
