Editors Note: People send me all kindsa great and strange pictures of the stuff they're working on and what they think makes up the perfect chopper. I figured it was only fair to share this stuff with everybody. If you want us to publish a pix of your project or finished scoot, send 'em HERE, if you don't want 'em published, don't send 'em (duh...)

Here's my scoot. Well sorta...

Sad thing is...the coppers took my engine. It was stolen when I bought it. Looking for a 82-82 ironhead to replace it HELP!

Yeah man,

Long story here. Started Dec. 2000

Bought a basket case for $1500. Spent more ordering new frame, tank, everything else except engine, forks and pipes. Went powder coatin' crazy.

Bike was ready to be inspected for a title.

Number on the motors were bad. turns out that the coppers recovered this engine back in '86. Then someone stole it out from under them the same week.
They was pissed.

So, the Coppers confiscated my engine.

They left my "just built bike" in pieces.

Three months later , last week, I managed to harass the insurance company enough (they already paid off they claim back in the 80s')

I bought it back from them with cash.

Now, I will get it registered in a special way cause it's legit now.

She's a beauty and as loud as an 1000cc ironhead can get. Bone shaker.

Sorry for the shitty picture..we had just built it back up and it was at
night.

Now that's devotion - the first thing this dude does when he's done building it back up after all that trauma is sent some pix to ChoppersRule. Very cool - that engine number thing can be a bitch. I had a sporty that had caught fire (don't ask) that I wanted to sell, but I wasn't sure about it's "origins". Called up the State Patrol boys and they said "bring it on down", I said "How 'bout I tell you the numbers and if it's bad you come and get it". Surprise! They didn't have to make a house call!
