Well, of course I wrote back to find out more...but I then I got this note from his wife:

Hello....this is Carol, Matt's wife. I am terribly sorry to write to you to 
advise you that my husband, Matt passed away last Saturday. He loved his 
bikes, and I appreciate you writing to him. Thanks for writing.

Rest In Peace, Mattman, though we never really met you, we hope you're riding with the big guy.

Something i threw together one winter. 1974 FXE wish bone frame, 10" over 84 FXST wide glide .

How come the stuff this guy "throws together" one winter looks cooler than most of the stuff in the showroom window. Guess I'm just a misfit...
