Fwd for more Readers' Rides

Editors Note: People send me all kindsa great and strange pictures of the stuff they're working on and what they think makes up the perfect chopper. I figured it was only fair to share this stuff with everybody. If you want us to publish a pix of your project or finished scoot, send 'em HERE, if you don't want 'em published, don't send 'em (duh...)

Hey Warren-great site ! Enjoy all of the bike pics very much! Here is my little rigid shovelhead-about 85% complete, should be on the streets in Denver in less than a month. Shovel motor, genuine Harley Rigid frame, (1955, I think, ), BadBoy springer front end, Performance machine brakes fore and aft, seat is a replica of a WWII Indian Scout Army bike. Tire is 1" wider than stock, and fits into the unaltered frame. Bike also have a belt drive primary, dual-plug heads and other motor work, 4speed tranny, and an oil cooler. Keep up the good work!

Hey Warren-I understand that your is a chopper site, but I had to pass this pic along...This bike was for sale in the paper, went out and bought it for a buddy who has taken it back to ride on the streets of Cleveland ! Why is it special ? It is a 1976 FXE SuperGlide, Bone stock ( except for forward controls and the seat. ) Warren, this bike is 25 years old and has 9200 original miles on it. It looks like it just came out of the showroom-the original paint is like glass, it is clean enough to eat off of !! Unbelievable !! People who see it think it is a restoration-and Runs Like A Train !! A really strong, muscular horse, right from the factory. I send this along to encourage others to keep looking-there is still lots of good stuff our there

Great site !

Yeah, you never know where this stuff is gonna show up. I bought a near-to-running sporty for $600 once, followed by TWO basket 45 trikes for $350. Just keep turning up rocks...

I like your site especially the older bikes chopped right. Here is a picture of my 64 xlch and my living room. Sometimes there is no room for a couch when one lives in the big city.

It's really good to see someone with a correct set of priorities. Who needs a couch anyhow?
