Fwd for more Readers' Rides

Editors Note: People send me all kindsa great and strange pictures of the stuff they're working on and what they think makes up the perfect chopper. I figured it was only fair to share this stuff with everybody. If you want us to publish a pix of your project or finished scoot, send 'em HERE, if you don't want 'em published, don't send 'em (duh...)

here's a pic of my 65 Sporty,I got it as a basket case.I got alot of help from a brother of mine,"LIL Mike" Dillworth. Together we built the motor and I did the paint. I have less than $4000.00 into my bike and I think it came out alright.

Here is a pic of my wife's Trumpet. We bought it as a completly trashed out " custom " from some drunk fool at the Hawg Wild swap meet. I mean to tell ya it was a MESS!! The wiring was trash, the brake pedal was held up by a bungee cord, the rear fender was tearing chunks outta the tire, one cylider was puking oil, ect..... you get the picture. Anyway, with a lotta effort and some hard earned cash we finally built the wife the PINK PANTHER bike she always wanted. What you can't really see in the pic is the dogbone risers and the z-bars, the guts to the motor are all new, pistons, valves, reworked the tranny, ect...I did the paint with is a neon pink sprayed over a silver metallic base.We polished up all the shiny parts by hand and now the only thing really left to do is build a new base for the seat and have it redone as we changed the angle of the fender and the seat doesnt sit right anymore. I will be sending pics soon of the chop project that I am starting. The frame is being built for me as we speak. Hope fully what I see in my head is what will develop in the garage. HAHA. Chains, Flames and rigid frame..not to mention a mustang tank and upswept fishtails! The motor is already done and sitting in my current bike. Its a 75 xlch motor that has been bored 40 over, triple pro-comp valve springs which produce about 215 pounds of seat pressure, titanium nitrate valves, heads milled 20 thousandths which bumped the overall compression up to about 11:1, Bead blasted the inside of the cases to make the oil flow off them better and then cut small " return channels " in the case to circulate the oil better, rocker rollers...yadda yadda yadda. The bike will flat shit and git! I'll keep ya posted if ya like.Still going apeshit deciding on a paint scheme. If yer ever up here in Longmont look me up.

Warren! this is one hell of a site.
Here is a picture of my sled that I had built form scratch way back in 1978. The frame is from Walker's Engine & Frame Works in Carson, Ca. The engine parts & trans were scrounged-up from the local swampmeetsand numerous bike shops. The engine has a Andrew's "A" grind cam, solid lifts, aluminum push-rods and a S&S Super-E carb.

Im originally from Torrance, Ca and moved up to Washington State in 1990 were in my spare time I design and fabricate parts for my Bro's rides.

Contact Randy for additional info.
