Up close and personal: a detailed look at the bottom adaptor that bolts into the bottom of your steering neck.
The top triple tree contains a ball joint and then a tube which goes down the steering neck. The "bottom adaptor" on the left slides into the bottom of your neck and bolts on through to the top triple tree. The bottom triple tree then attached to the spindle with the clip. The nylon tubes act as fork stops. The two tabs coming up on either side (almost covered by my hands) position the bottom adaptor dead center on the neck.

This thing is massive, solid and well finished. By the way, the kit shown here is the polished version (not chrome) - but on the scoot you really cant' tell the difference. Personally, while I love chrome, the polished is more easily taken care of if there's a nick or scratch. Once chrome is messed up - well, you know the rest!
