I first saw this bike next to the Indian Larry trailer - strapped down to a pickup truck. I was floored - there was so much to see on this bike that was a direct departure from the traditional "customs" that were all over the place - it was like the owner said "I don't care one bit what the rest of the work is building - I'm gonna do what ever the hell I want".

There was stuff here that didn't make sense - like high-dollar billet wheels on an ancient Indian springer front end, a primo knucklehead motor with a Budweiser bottle opener welded to the frame, rust next to chrome next to billet. I grabbed my camera and started snapping pictures.

"Cool", I thought - then walked on down the road thinking that I'd just seen one of the most original bikes at Sturgis. Too bad it was in a trailer...something like that must not be much of a runner...
