I was wrong - of course. The next time I saw this
bike was parked at the Full Throttle. It was parked next to "Ol' Rusty"
- then it hit me (duh) this bike belongs to Billy Lane (Discovery
Channel Bike Builder, in case you've been under a rock for the past two
or three years). You can check it out on his site
HERE.
So, normally - I would just pick my personal favorite bike and name it
the Top Choppah. It is usually something parked on a side street, or in
a line of bikes - but it's never a show bike. And it this case, I just
picked my favorite and it WAS a famous bike.
But I think with this bike, it's not about the builder, it's about a
style that just defies what everyone else is doing and cuts right to the
heart of "art" - it's about what you like, what you think is cool and
where you want to be. This bike is clearly that to it's owner.
